ASIS Chapter 067 - "Helping members manage life threatening risks one chapter at a time!"

ASIS members monitor national crime rates and regional property and casualty losses. Considering criminals are using the internet to recruit and perpetrate their crimes, we monitor burglary, robbery, fraud and terrorist threats anywhere in the world through our ASIS International as well as with the FBI through InfraGard, and the world credit union movement through WOCCU and CUNA Mutual Group. Note our links to local law enforcement and alert networks to include terrorist alerts, www.missingkids.com and www.juststolen.com. ASIS International has chapters around the world so we're able to liaison with members around the globe.
ASIS 067 responds to a Door County barn fire! learn more
Fires; whether factory, farm, or house, get our attention. For example, a Door County barn fire at Mark Hasenjager's farm  (click here) brought ASIS members James Zirbel from Capital Fire & Security, David Koenig from Capital Lock and Safe, and Rich Woldt from The Risk Management Learning Center together to discuss what Chapter 067 might recommend to farmers across the county and around the world.

David Koenig points out locking systems that could automatically open barn doors and fire resistant equipment appropriate for protecting farm ledgers.
Jim Zirbel points out what alarm components and enunciators might work in a properly zoned barn. Having built his own barn, Rich Woldt point out a lot plan and barn design that would slow the spread of the fire and gain time to reach hot spots.

ASIS Chapter 067 officers meet regularly to schedule speakers, arrange critical infrastructure security tours, and plan regional training workshops.

ASIS Chapter 067 Benefits:

At the end of the day ASIS 067 assembled members in a focused mission. A mission you'll hear more about during future monthly briefings.
